that's actually an enemy clipping through the door enough to trigger the mine, but since the door is closed the mine can only damage that which blows it open, you need to set the mine a bit further in on your side so they can't clip into it

Hey ive been playing this game solo for about 3 months now and was wondering can someone explain how to locate stuff easier cause i know the basics but nothing more like the key cards and how to locate the path i need to take
if you know the name/id of the keycard you can put "query key_color_number" into a terminal and it will tell you the zone, and if you're in the same zone, you can replace "query" with "ping"
for figuring out where you need to go, you might need to query the objective item(s) in the top left, and then figure out which security doors lead there via the numbers on the top left corners of them

ok thank you for the pinging items part but i get confused on the doors cause door 31 will lead me to room 29 somehow and i have to get to room 32
security doors? the numbers they have on them means that is exactly where they should go
sometime they compress multiple though, like 10 - 14 means zones 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14
and they usually, I'm pretty sure always, lead forward to a higher zone number
Generally the rooms go up un numbers, but not always. There could be side paths and optional secondary zones (feature from rundown 4 and onwards) can have radically different numbers.
You can't use the terminal to see a path - you need to find a security door (the one that requires a scan) and literally LOOK AT IT to see the numbers.
I.e.:
You're on Zone_10.
Objective is in Zone_15 according to terminal.
You find a security door, look at it and it says:
Door to Zone_11, passage to Zones_12, 13, 14, 15, 16...
Does that say Zone_15? Then that's where we need to go.
Small problem: once the door gets opened the numbers get hidden and you can't close it back to check so better remember where you're going.

It basically means that you complete every possible objective from the expedition, in a single run
If it has a Main, Secondary and Overload layers, you need to complete all three.
Usually harder objective than Main or Secondary ones
In previous versions of the game, the optional objectives were named for their "Threat Level" that would sound warnings when you opened bulkhead doors.
Secondary was then named "Extreme" ; therefore when you opened this layer door you would get a "Warning, threat level : Extreme".
Now I believe you only get such warning when you open "Overload" layer doors.

Got word from the team: the changes were made as part of the ALTR5 release but for some reasons they weren’t included in the release build (even though it was marked to merged), and was now merged with the R6 build. So, it was intentional for the R5 release but for some reason it didn’t go in until this release.
Hence the small confusion @little ridge

I'm not sure about tools. We have 4 sentries and only one of them is universally good
I do feel like in regard to burst cannon, sniper sentry and all the contentious items they tend to overnerf, granted I didnt use those often but I still am more of fan of nerfing efficiency of a tool rather than the fun of it

so uh last time like we split up, 1 of my friend and the bot with the tracker hold off the error alarm, while me and my other friend try to fast stealth and disable the alarm

I don't know if the tip is up to date since it could've been changed - but its advised to start uplinks backwards

Well from what I know they have to add a Sound Event so the boss music plays during the fight. Boss music can only trigger when an enemy with the "boss" role is present and aggroed

I hate bot logic.. Level with a LOT of infection fog and they are grabbing & replacing fog repellers with lock melters.

no i think bots- i mean i don't get it 100% but i think they like balance
if 2 bots have fogs the other is prone to grab something else
this is super painful on foggy levels
the order is C-foam/trip mines, lock melters, fog repellers
Bring 99% infection resist and join the bots it recreational fog diving

I was about to ask if we can tell them to drop the lock melters and pick up the fog repellants
Sadly no.
I don't mind lock melters - since bots always use them - but on a level with no turbine I'd prefer them carrying around fog repellers instead.
