Just to let you know in advance, the wiki doesn't really have the full changelog from day 1 archived within it (and I only started the current effort of 'trying to comprehensively document the weapon stats' back in April this year - and even then, I haven't gotten around to documenting stuff like weapon inaccuracy stats, recoil, sentry rotation speeds, etc on the wiki)

That's not a bug. The rewards for completing levels is one pool. It's not like we add 14 new items for alt R6 and you can only get those from that specific rundown

to finish a single mission in Rundown 1
Step 1: Read the objective. Carefully.
Step 2: Find terminal.
Step 3: QUERY the objective, pay attention where it is.
Step 4: Start making your way towards the objective by paying attention to zone numbers on the doors - they always say where they lead.
understanding terminals helps massively
and paying attention to your objective text

You can continously shoot Cfoam at a door to keep it reinforced. With a good line of sight the cfoamer can just keep the horde out until scan is done and then you just let them in to say hello to the mine.
Shoot the last guy still standing in the mouth and call it a day.
Rinse and repeat until you win.

difficulty correlates more from A to E than rundown 1 to rundown 7. You can jump around as you wish, though lot of people just start rundown 1
the difficulty on each rundown is non-sequential, R1 is the easiest one as a whole
you can start at the newly released Alt R6 even if you want
Personally I believe playing more fresh rundowns is ill advised.

With smgs being ~1.8 and rifles ~2.2
If you want damage - you pull out your special. Veruta deals 3.5 a bullet and both Arbalist and Heavy AR are 5.0+

This has to be the least controversial patch notes I've seen
i mean its a really good balancing patch imo
brought up the weaker weapons, fixed some age old bugs like checkpoints (I think)

I find it to be a QoL more than anything else.
You now just have better control of your sprint / no sprint states
With old spear it was very annoying that I had to let go of the charge before I had to sprint.
It just felt somewhat unresponsive.
It just feels better now, but I will probably just stick to hammer most of the time

I enjoyed the shotgun fire following the muzzle. Bringing it up and firing too early felt immersive and added a skill element
There's a bunch of veterans around here who will heavily disagree with that. Especially considering that pump action was the only one to do that and thus was the sticking out nail

do guns have very intense damage drop off in this game
shooting giants with smgs seems to be just a waste of ammo
Smgs do.
meanwhile they can kill smalls with like 4 shots if you do headshots
They have like 6-8 meters tops
it starts early but I -think- guns can only drop down to 50% damage at their absolute minimum range
Also using mains on giants is oof
giants also have WAY more health
Unless it's one of the shotguns
