I like holding 1 room past the bridge to the east. You have the bridge to kill enemies coming from behind, and a very tight chokepoint to kill enemies coming from in front.

You can hold the final wave over by the far west door (where the final code will be) though be wary as enemies will be allowed to spawn directly on you.

if team is confident holding 2 and 3 way holds makes the 2nd and 3rd wave a lot quicker
4 way is a challenge at times so i usually move to north bridge since we pull scout zone anyway

no, i'd actually say it's the opposite, this game has an INSANE amount of mechanical depth you don't see at all at the surface when you start, and as you get better and start learning how to read things your toolkit for tricks and things you can do grows over hundreds of hours, most important thing is being inquisitive and thinking about how things will interact and trying new out-there ideas, if you're good at asking "i wonder if i can..." then you will get a lot out of this game
