keep in mind you have to manage ammo for bots as well and there are 3 alarms 2 of which are somewhat long

also rooms have sleeping enemies so more time taken

don't think it should be a massive deal, bots are pretty ammo efficient and you get plenty of ammo

(4u first zone, 5-6u second zone, 6-7u third zone), and the scans should still be pretty easy to hold with 2 players 2 bots

If you means enemies reach you with a weird delay - that's normal. Enemy pathing gets wacky sometimes so they get stuck somewhere and then finally get unstuck. Which of course delays them. Happens pretty much always.

If we talk: you hear a wave scream during down time (code search) - then that is not normal.

i know this first hand because if you try to hold in charger zone for one of the codes then chargers will actually spawn on top of you

We have had issues where we were in downtime but waves were still coming

But no scream in downtime

So we figured the waves were delayed or sum

Wacky pathing it is.
The wave spawns, they start walking towards you... And just experience various degrees of confusion. Walking around corners, maybe doors, yadi yada... Some of them get delayed for good 2-3 minutes before they reach you. We call them stragglers. One guy should always stay slightly behind the squad and make sure no surprises will sneak up on the squad while they're busy with a stealth room full of scouts.

Watch your stamina - if its stuck at 80 and refuses to go down to 60 (which is a "calm" out of combat state of characters) - then something is currently making its' way towards you.

Its not a reliable science, but its better than nothing.

in the beginning stealth is like 80% yeah i agree, but once you get better its like 30% of the game afterwards. Progression is mainly through completing rundowns and gaining cosmetics from beating each level.
