Because blood door enemies sometimes spawn clipping through the door which triggers usually if you put your mine inside that little side pocket

R6 and R7 were played far too much so kinda just a chore to play now

Iirc overkill damage on tumors is just scrapped
(Then again this was regarding using special damage boosters way back when I heard it)
It's mainly due to the small desync between clients and host
ok so i was kind of right
That small desync lets client over dmg tumor and it sustract it to the total hp
So basically host is fucked in terms of how many tumors they'd need to shoot if they were to be the main damage to tumors
Also some other funky stuff like host will have mom respond faster a little to their shots while client will have her stay still longer
That last one was a lot more apparent in r6 but still is there
Back in R6D2 when only host could see the real objective count

Burst cannon does 20 damage per bullet and is the highest damage / magazine weapon in out of all the special guns @visual lily

It is possible to give out cosmetics on any level completion, as done with FOMO cosmetic drops in the past. What if the same mechanic was used to hand out missing cosmetics to people who already have a certain amount of cosmetics, which would indicate that they are eligible for those cosmetic drops?
The number of cosmetic drops given could be adjusted based on the exact number of apparel items the player already has.
that doesn't account for how many a player should have depending on completed levels and rundowns
also special event cosmetics
i don't know what systems they have, what they keep track of, but this is just a general shit show
and people also missed out on different numbers of cosmetics
It does, because 10C has the apparel of any given player saved to their database, which means they can query the amount a player has, which is an indicator of how many cosmetics that player is missing, therefore level completions.
Exceptions would need to be made to take into account FOMO apparel, so if the query returns any of those, they wouldn't be counted towards the owned apparel amount.
the quarry would return the amount of levels the player has completed which have given them an apparel reward, it level completions is not accurate as some drops were locked behind completing optional objectives
i've said this a lot but I'll say it again - if it were that easy I'm sure they would have done it by now. I don't think they have a way to fix this that doesn't involve something either super complicated or tedious

That wouldn't work if people have played through levels and already earned any cosmetics, then they could just reset the rundown and get more cosmetic drops.
unless the data base keeps track of which apparel drop was received from which level of which rundown and whichever difficulty goal reward, there isn't a clean answer

it has other consequences and not to mention, it also fucks over anyone who played the rundown yesterday and didn't care about apparel

i am going to be completely honest, as much as it is a pretty big mishap, i doubt they were testing or thinking ab apparel drops when they were remaking R4
