When you ping the location, it tells you what room it's inside of

You can only ping within the same zone, but it's very useful info to have
After all, if something is in room G, then you just search room G and ignore the rest of the zone
I knew I was in the H zone, but it was too big, I couldn't find it without the ping, I had to look meticulously

if im not wrong, theres a room divider, the zone upstairs is H, and the lil zone with two doors in the lower floor is another
always b sure to look the signs n the top on the corners of the door

Yeah, this game is really big on situational awareness within the level and rooms, letters zones etc.

Bots' guns are perfectly silent, but bullets can still randomly hit far away enemies and wake up rooms that way.

I actually had a case where I gave a bot an hel gun I woke one enemy up and he (speculation here) penned the enemy and hit another sleeper

AFAIK if you wake an enemy and he's at a certain distance he'll try to attack you once, failed or accomplished that he'll scream. If far enough, the viceversa happens

because staggering is a mechanic and I guess the devs felt that they needed a weapon based around it
the extra damage + range of the hammer will probably be more useful than the bat's stagger in most situations

if i wanted to try and balance id probably reduce hammer stagger so bat actually staggers more. This makes hammer less op and gives bat a slight niche

hammer can sprint kill scouts or sprint aggro for a safer kill
and vs giants the insane stagger and better breakpoint dmg is also more useful

We reached a point where it was impossible to proceed without 4 people and it was taking over 3 hours. Now that there's more rundowns, I'm back to playing, and I'm starting from R1, trying to understand the story, listen to the dialogues, stuff like that. I just spent 2 hours on R1A1, alone with bots, and now I'm off to R1B1

r1 levels take 1 hour at most unless you (like damian) take a slow pace and or struggle to find an objective item
the whole rundown consists of mostly short missions. C2 being by far the longest generally
r1 is not that long
not the rundown itself just the mission are a drag to do
r1c2 is not that long
like the mission im doing rn is r1c1 nd you literaly cannot wake any enemies cus of how big the rooms are
r1c1 is a reactor
the only way for that level to be fast is u speed run to the reactor, start it imediately
have someone that can timing well enough to type in the code as soon as it is given
only played with bots unfortunatley
but managed to do the other reactor level pretty easily
on the 8th reactor sequence, ur team need to be at the spawn when the code was given
eva run took 20:36 minute

i mean i was more talking about how the r1 rooms are so over cramped with enemies that your basicly forced to take it slow

i didnt play r6 but in r7, its slow because of how big of the map

All rundown 1 missions are pretty short. Every single one can be done below 10 minutes bar r1c1
cuz why not make a nearly 20 min long reactor sequence of nothing but basic enemys…
i can testify that with bots
every mission can b under an hour even with slow sneaking
c2 funnily was the one that took me the longest
with d1, u just kinda need to know how to make the enemies pulse at the same time
and then u just go and kill
i didnt opened a resource zone in my runs lmao
thats how you make d1 take long, by going through multiple ressource zones

the bots are super efficient with ammo n the couple they give u r more than enough

You never want to 2-burst ideally.
Always try to 1-burst then finish w/ Main.

If you kill 2 enemies per burst you match Pump or Choke Mod.

If you kill more than that, you're starting to threaten dedicated wave clear, but that's hard to land outside of reactors.

For wave clear, HEL Gun and even HEL Rifle can be better, but BC is doing 400 damage per refill.
Its closest competition in its own niche is Sniper, and Sniper can't wave clear at all.

That's wave clear, though. W/ bots you might prefer to take giant clear, and if you need to have some waveclear alongside your giant clear then BC is better than any other option.

HEL Rifle has a lot holding it back to keep it balanced, while HEL Gun does not, so it's generally kind of mediocre if you aren't specifically facing chargers.

In theory, they can achieve maximum efficiency and RoF and just completely obliterate every enemy in the game.

In practice, they over-commit their ammo fairly often.
I haven't really checked, though, they might be way more cracked than the one guy that tested let on.
I think another fear w/ BC is that they'll be prone to obliterating any human being that gets between them and the enemy.

BC range is actually kind of limited if you're body-shotting strikers.
But if they're flicking on heads for every individual bullet they can kill at basically any range.

The biotracker helps EVERYONE not just the person using it, also gives sniper and shotgun sentries bonuses
or run away closin doors
I too have seen them refuse mining a door sometimes but they usually comply after a couple of tries or after I reset them
anything with thermal also severely underperforms

Sounds like you are built different, because I can get by just fine without it even in the fog. Difference is that there's no reason not to use it

Especially if you're taking a bot. It is literally their best tool. They cheat with it and you don't need to command them to use it
well i usualy do 3 sniper sentries and 1 bio tracker on fog missions
the sight out of fog has been severely nerfed too, it's range it so much shorter now

So what hel weapons should I run for R1C1? It sounds like some of them are good but some of them suck
All HEL weapons are pretty usable on reactors besides maybe HEL Shotgun.
HEL Shotgun you kind of need them to get pretty close, and if you have a lot of enemies very close to you then the wave is already out of control.
i would say, have variety
one person with a sniper or burst cannon
one two people with hel weapons
and one with maybe a machinegun
theres variety in the waves so u need variety in ur team
and on the main weapons choose whatevs but, take into account short range weapons might conflict a bit cause the level is very long
the rooms are very long corridors
bring a variaty of gun, mostly what suit you the best, try to have high damage gun to deal with big boi
and dont make the hel guns sad, they are all good, its just they need to be in good hand
the hel shotgun is godly but needs to have the enemies way too close
i wouldnt depend on hel shotgun in a reactor level
my poor boi hel guns, i will always hate using u, but u are and forever will be 1 of the best gun
