Yeah I get ya. Looking back I joined some random on R7B3 for fun. We went through the first security door and were setting up for the blood door and then a random striker just kept spawning in. Knowing what I know now seems like the host was being a jerk. The funny part is we just switched hosts to see if it would get fixed and it worked. They weren't even good at being a troll.

The game is hard until you know what you're doing and have some practice in. Proper prep for an alarm is the difference between never firing a shot and taking no damage and just being dead.

Pretty much. Going in with the expectation of dying to learn is a good strategy. If that gets too grating you can look up a guide but going in blind is part of the fun.

And obviously later levels you just have to be good at the game as they get pretty difficult.

dont know how big your group is but im running the game with one friend all brand new if you wanted to play

At some point you'll hit a point where you will start to first clear even new levels

It might also be worth noting that if you get stuck on C+ tier going to a different rundown and doing some levels there isn't a bad strategy.

And to put things into perspective R1 (the whole rundown) is basically tutorial difficulty and MUCH easier than what comes later

Keep in mind though R7 has optional secondary/extreme objectives in some levels that make it significantly harder.

It is not too hard. Just do not go into every room shooting, know how to work the terminal, do not waste resources. That is pretty much it. You will still die but less.
