Hey everyone, regarding raid splits. Do we have to have the spare GP available to split as soon as a raid ends, or are we given time to sell the item we got first? Wondering because I'm an iron and would love to do some team ToA runs, but if a shadow drops I would need to pk myself on an alt, sell the shadow, and then give the other party members their GP.

yeah you can do that. can be courteous to let others know that's what you'll need to do, also some people assume irons are FFA by default so it never hurts to clarify expectations upfront

it's good if your alt is actually ready immediately though. irons that have non-bonded level 3 alts in Lumbridge and/or have to figure out how to sell 50 items on their alt's bank are a bit annoying haha

What tps do I need for efficient Turael boosting?

uh, off the top of my head

• seed pod for quick access to wolves/monkeys via glider
• skull sceptre for minotaurs
• ecotophial for cows/undead/maybe birds
• slayer ring for crawling hands/banshees/cave crawlers
• quick access to fairy ring for AJQ for cave slimes + cave bugs
• Ring of the elements for bats/scorpions
• Glory for spiders near draynor (though many options here)
• Draynor manor tp for goblins (lumbridge might be almost as good, haven't timed them). Can just SBS if you don't have in house.
• Kourend castle tp for ghosts if you have them unblocked (go north in catacombs, there's 9 ghosts instead of 6 and it's noticeably faster). Can just SBS.
• Lassar for ice fiends. Can just SBS.

I think that's it, there's minor stuff like desert amulet iv if you have it (and then you can unblock kalphites on turael + block them on your main slayer master)

Others (vangs, tekton) need coordination to ensure that people don't explode

If you can see the #cm-mass-text-guide channel, you can see a textual description of how we run mass CMs here each week! There are a few things about masses (and especially leading them) that make them tricky:

1. People will make mistakes and there will be chaos. It does not matter how good everyone is individually, something WILL go wrong
2. You want to remove as much individual decision-making from the raiders as possible, and you want to keep strategies simple, even if they're inefficient. Every moment that anyone doesn't have a clear idea of what to do is an opportunity to lose points/fun
3. Be very clear and concise in your delivery of calls, and make sure people are listening! Ego is the team killer
4. If you have total newbies, Olm will make you lose almost all of your points. Try to have fun with it as people get used to the mass
5. Repeat yourself often. Try not to contradict yourself. Be proactive rather than reactive with your calls
6. Every room in the raid will hit harder than people expect! Raiders should be comfortable chugging lots of brew to stay high hp, and ideally the team should overprep so that a lot of brew can be drank and so that there are extras in case of olm deaths

There are a couple of things not listed in that text guide that we do as raid leaders (for example, scything vespula while she's down to keep her down longer), but it's mostly all there

Once Leagues is over, we're gonna bring back our weekly mass raids, and you're welcome to attend to see how it's done!

How much would getting rid of Reddit and discord completely hinder my osrs experience for end game content as a solo player?

I’ve been in the wdr for a little bit and it’s helped me get into my first raid which is TOA but looking to get of my two remaining social media’s completely.

this is also a team finding disc, and many/most clans out there will also have their own disc that they will ask you to join

i mean, as a solo you might not mind but having some social is good in games like these, team activities can be fun
