you'd need to get permission and realistically... no one is going to give you free carries. You could try scouting a good layout and posting it for 3 people to join a 3+4 if you want in #lfr-cox-scaled or #lfr-cox-ffa-and-iron but peple are likely to be weirded out by it
On sundays we do have the chattingmass, which is a mass CM. We have pures that make potions for the entire raid that you could probably partiicpate in -- but no one would be able to hold your hand in the moment

I guess it depends on context, but usually the way I mean it (and the way I think most others mean it), we're not trying to say "yeah you need to play like a long time expert right away". everyone knows there's a learning curve involved and everyone starts somewhere. what we're trying to say is "don't blame lack of gear/bad rng when you could work to play better instead".
95% of players will not get s30 with that setup but of those, probably like 90% of them wouldn't get it with max gear either. they just simply do not care to learn. it's the attitude we're poking at, not the fact that the person isn't achieving Oblivion diary times right off the bat

Im in a bit of a mindbomb lately. I've returned after many years and finally have surpassed the 2040 total level, which is a big achievement for me. Other than that i just joined to acutally start learning raids, for when i got the time.
I've killed several bosses and plan on going in and try Cox/Toa in the very near future.
Im tho very confused if it best to actually invest in a bowfa + crystal setup or masori + bp and niche weapons for a range setup.
I've actually already gotten ayak + conf, fang + bloodm tass, nezzy helm, rancour, prims and such. Most of the time i've been rocking masori + bp for slayer and it feels really good.
But, my real question is, is my clan mate being wrong for still recommending me a bowfa setup, for future raids and basically any bosses? They seem to have a hard stance on the weapon + armor.
But i see in here that the bowfa + crystal is not much of upgrade, considering the more money. Also, if i bring masori + bp + dcb/dhcb will people in the future cut me off for such gear picks?
I see masori + bp and niche weapons like scobow, dhcb and such as way more versatile setup for a main, but am i wrong?
I diffently also see people in here still saying bowfa.
What would be the most wise choice overall, for an main account if you guys did not pick just toa/cox specific, but also geenral bossing. Honestly i like just having the gear laying around and avoid the taxes of just selling and buying for whenever i need something.
I hope you can help me out. I know im probably just another stupid noob, looking an answer. And i can say i have searched in here, but seems like masori + bp question is very related to just cox/toa.
In advance, im sorry if i pi** you off for another question about this topic. I just tought it would be wise to ask some very good players, instead.

Bowfa+crystal is a noob trap as it mostly benefits irons. As a main with infinite access to dragon ammo, compared to dcb+bp with masori bowfa stands no chance at all places except the inferno and CM cox. !bowfa for a better explanation.
Granted, dragon ammo isn't cheap. But you have to spend money to make money, and that's a mindset that takes some time to set in for a lot of players. Hence the mains corrupting bowfa because it's ""cheaper""

So typically you just learn with other learners, which can be kinda painful with some wipes before you even get a clear, but for the most success you should pick a world that's good for you with low population, and make a party and a post like "+3 mage, mfrz, mdps voicechat required " and go over the resources together in voice chat and stuff

You can always do !cox 0 or !tob 0 in #2️⃣role-commands to reset KC and get a green name, but I don't think you are able to remove raid roles once you have already given them to yourself. You're gonna need a mod for that sweet, sweet white name
