It’s the cursed 25 damage proc that counts as your damage despite also being neutral damage and is typeless magic damage that isn’t a spell

My guess is it’s something like, ayak js demonbane but the powered staff part isn’t demonbane damage

Or they made ayak demonbane but hardcoded the powered staff auto attack to be a spell that’s not demonbane

Non demonbane spells do 0

But acgs blood sacrifice is super cursed due to repeated patches to fix niche bug interactions and exploits and its neutral damage somehow counts as demonbane when you hold ant demonbane weapon (perhaps because it’s not a spell)

I wonder if other dot damage resets shield charge if you hold a demonbane weapon

Yea unfortunately solo olm isnt the kind of thing that can be live coached at all. Mostly because a lot of timing is intuitive + discord voice chat delay. Like "yeah so youre not attacking on the correct tick, making it impossible to get into the 4:1 cycle, also you already died 5 seconds ago"

You had the absolute right idea for learning tho. Stams and a shit load of pots- but as brew said your best/only advice will come from re watching videos and attempting again + recording your gameplay and asking what youre doing wrong

Olm will basically do 2 attacks then a special. As mage skipper you want 1 attack to hit melee side, 1 attack to hit you while you're on the mage side, then you move to melee side. Olm has no one to hit with special on mage side so it skips it.

Late answer but for clarity;
You can just continue what you did in previous phases except the skipping part.

Turn head to melee, 1 attack.
Stand on mage runner tile (or further), head turns center, attacks you.
You move to melee runner tile (or further), head turns melee again.

Both sticking to sides is kinda ass imo since one of the two will never reach pools and head will sometimes be stuck on one side. Doing the above method you have full control over the head if your teammate is getting assblasted by attacks for example.
