Same system as chambers, but there's brackets with multipliers. Wiki has some good info on how it works

- you get points for damage you deal, same as CoX
- higher raid levels increase hp of bosses, thus naturally giving more points. also path level modifiers would increase boss hp further
- this bit is not capped in any way, you can run a 600 and the regular loot will scale accordingly
- higher raid levels also make points worth more in purple % chance
- higher raid levels also shift purple weightings (away from fang/lb, towards the others). this bit starts at 300 raid level and caps at 500
edit: the 550 thing is old and no longer applicable

your friend should try to solo it. duo is literally harder than solo unless at least one person actually knows what they're doing
in entry mode, when solo, team based mechanics (e.g. Verzik lightning) actually scale down enough to be ignorable. the moment you have 2+ people, they start to work as team based mechanics meaning that not doing them correctly will be quite punishing (by entry standards)

entry is good for focused practice (e.g. learning to melee Xarpus), it's terrible for actually trying to learn what ToB is like
entry ToB isn't even close to the hardest quest stuff nowadays. average master quests now are all similar if not greater difficulty, I would even say Vanstrom from Sins of the Father is more difficult. DT2 is significantly tougher than entry ToB

So sometimes I do cox diary runs for people, and duo toa. Thereās no duo channel and Itās a bit annoying to have someone quite literally every 5 min randomly come in donāt say anything, breathing into the mic, and kind of hovering around when already told weāre mid raid.
I know we can private call etc, but people who just want diaries think phub is some sort of phishing scam. Iād also rather do these runs in public. People get weirded out in private calls and i feel the same.
Itās really just so I can give brief instructions. Prep potion while i clear room. Some people want to help so i let them dps mutta mystics etc. Some people asking for tips.

theres multiple things we can work thru
first, you need to follow the !join command to join the server and see all the channels. theres a video guide if you need (its 2 small steps, dont overthink it)
second. participating in raids does not give thieving xp.
you can however, scout a thieving first room solo (make sure its 100 scaled), and get thieving xp there, its particularly good early levels, falls off really hard around 50-60
