the latter are longer challenges though and generally test different skills overall

I have 2 questions about saturated heart.

1. The wiki says the buff lasts for 5 minutes but it has a 5 minute cooldown. Does that mean after the buff runs out; I am able to click it again for the buff?
2. CoX BIS guide on the wiki doesn't use the heart but it brings a shadow which would benefit a lot from the mage levels. Why does it not include it?

Correct on 1, it is 100% uptime on using saturated heart

It's not brought into chambers since you can get overloads in the rooms and use them, with overloads being more potent than heart and it refreshes itself rather than heart boost being lost when you brew

It's a good addition to pre-potting before you start the raid, but you would bank it after

Ok so when it comes to mage skipping in trios, does it matter what side the special skip is happening?

Because lets say he start with

Auto Left side
Turns to the right (skipped the null)
Auto right side
Turns to left (skipped the special)

Is this equivalent to

Auto right side
Turns to left (skipped the null)
Auto left side
Turns to right skipped the special)

Skipping specials are done by Olm not having a target to pick in his line of sight when he starts the special and turn.

for every 8 people, you gain an additional phase; up to 9 phases @ 48 or higher
when you cross the number e.g. 7 -> 8, the hands lose a bit of hp in exchange for the extra phase
