Once you've done that, you switch your protection back to the back mob, then wait for 2nd auto and you begin 1t alternation

In order for the npcs to gain los in the correct order, you need to start in the middle of the pillar, and the tile you run to is specific as that's the tile the back mob will gain los of you 1t before the closer mob
Some people don't notice that and just think you step out to the side and they might step from the corner, or be 1 tile back from pillar when it's a normal stack etc and the offtick just won't work

as for 1t alternating, while learning, as annoying as it is, metronome is your friend, be it audio or visual
If you opt for visual, you can resize and move the infobox to be closer to your prayers so it's not out of your peripheral vision
Go to wave 4 or 7 (single and double blob waves) and just spend 20 mins there drilling it down, 20 mins now will save you hours and hours and a bunch of frustration

mentor channels are locked and you can only get in when a mentor pings, if they are full, they are full

alternatively you can use #lfr-tob-learner to find people who are also learning or someone else experienced willing to show you the ropes

What I've seen the general rule for CoX is that the guy who scouts the raids get the tightrope crystal and meele olm hand. If this mentioned anywhere in the rules?

If you post that you are looking for a skipper and runner then yes, host gets melee role

if you're mid-raid and roles are being mentioned for the first time, you do not have a god-given right to melee role (i.e. you have a lance and I have torva/scy... i should melee)

You have guys coming with full torva scythe and running thralls. The general consesus always was that owner of the raid decided the roles

CoX Suggestion - Discourage people for sipping Overloads before Olm. Too many times I've raided with people in max gear who sip early and hog all the points, upto and including Olm. Granted this is more of an Iron issue, but still. It's discouraging to raid with people WDR since everyone does it.
