Hey nerds, I just want to clarify some things in regards to "mini-modding". If you're genuinely just diffusing drama or sticking up for someone who is being bullied or just answering questions for people, you're totally good. Letting people know a conversation shouldn't be had in general, you're totally good. HOWEVER, if you're telling people you're going to get them kicked, muted, in trouble, banned, telling someone you have the power to screw them over or if you're being condescending, or a bully, or being so obnoxious about it that you're harassing others...you've become the problem and it's totally not okay. It's also NEVER okay to reprimand a mod for not being strict enough or not being in chat. It's not your place to tell a mod how to mod. And if you see an issue with how a mod is handling themselves, use the report system. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you have previous issues with another member, it's probably not the best to reprimand them. There is a difference between being helpful & being happy that you're getting people in trouble. We want to stop situations from escalating while allowing people to still learn from the outcome. We aren't happy when we have to ban someone or when people fight & we have to intervene. What makes us happy is seeing a community grow. We're happy when people are so proud of their community that they don't welcome bullies or homophobia or racism. We would rather see people learn & grow than get kicked & not learn anything. So if your intentions aren't aligned with ours, you probably shouldn't be "mini-modding". We're grateful when you guys speak up & stop bad situations in their tracks, but if you don't feel you can handle a situation in a positive & drama free manner, please just use the reporting system. Lastly, don't bully people for helping in chat. Don't start drama or gossip about them. That's not okay. ❤ Thanks.

There have been some reports of people sending ip grabber links in dms. These links usually look like a regular link until you really look at it you can tell they are slightly different. Links like that can give your PC viruses, give someone access to your PC and all info on it. So pls do not click them!!

  • If someone does send you a link and it looks fishy, you can use the !report system we have or DM a staff member, or myself and we can look into it.
    (Obviously, do not abuse the report system, if you do it will lead to a mute/ban at the discretion of the staff team.)

Hey everyone! So as I’m sure you’ve seen around discord recently, there is a meme going around involving lyrics to a Minecraft Parody song being told line by line by multiple people. Attempting to start this meme is encouraging people to flood the chat with song lyrics, which is considered spam and is punishable by a significant mute or ban after continued offenses. Trying to bypass the bot that is filtering it will also result in a further punishment. Thanks! 😄

Just so everyone is aware, whenever Lachlan does streams in which he does custom matchmaking. Please keep in mind that the codes for these matches will NOT be given in here unless otherwise stated. If the code is members only, it will be on the COMMUNITY TAB on Lachlan's youtube channel. The black circle in the attached image indicates where this is. As I'm sure some of you know, discord recently added a feature where you can scan a QR code from your discord mobile app to log into discord on your pc. This is a convenient system, however it has a major flaw that has led to multiple scams and exploits spreading around.

PLEASE do NOT scan any QR codes that claim to give you "free nitro" or anything else sketchy. By scanning this code, you are giving the scammer FULL ACCESS to your discord account, even if you have 2FA on. Please be extremely careful about this and do NOT scan QR codes you see that claim to give you free stuff. We will be instantly banning anyone who posts a QR of this sort, and if you see one in chat, PLEASE use the report system to notify the staff team so we can take action. DO NOT TRY TO SCAN IT

Anyone running Windows 10 on their device, the NSA has released an official, public statement urging everyone to update their Windows devices as soon as possible. An exploit has been identified in the current version of Windows 10 that can allow malicious software to be automatically installed on your computer, under the guise of approved Windows updates.

This means that very soon, hackers will be developing tools to be able to take control of and install malicious software to over 900 million PCs worldwide, with little to nothing that can be done to stop or remove the infected software due to the system believing it is from an approved Windows Update.

The NSA and US Department of Defense urges everyone on Widows 10 to update their computer IMMEDIATELY, as a fix for the exploit has already been released. Again, failing to update now will put your machine at extreme risk in the future.

To update, click the windows logo in the bottom left, click the cog, go to "update and security" and press "check for updates."

As staff, we have been noticing a significant amount of minimodding in the server. Minimodding is where you take it upon yourself to enforce the rules while staff are in chat. The staff team's job is to enforce the rules, that's what we're here for. The staff know exactly how Lachlan wants his server to be run. If we are in chat, there is no need for you guys to enforce the rules, as we will be handling it. While we're not in chat, occasionally helping out is perfectly fine, you also have access to the !report command, which lets you report users to the staff team. It is very frustrating to have people do this while we're in chat, so make sure to please look into your attitudes and make sure you're not doing this. This is actually against rule 5 in the #rules, so if you do choose to continue this behavior, you will face consequences in accordance to rule 5. Thanks!

To whom it may concern,
Regarding recent issues that have come up surrounding Maddog and his ban from the server, we would like to make a few things clear, and be transparent with how we are moving forward with the situation.

Directly following Maddog's ban, we were informed about a new situation that we had no previous knowledge of. After looking into the new information, and getting perspectives from the parties involved, we now have what we believe to be the full picture. That being said, we'd like to share the actions that we're going to be taking going forward.

  1. Hannah has been removed from the staff team and banned due to breaking rule 13.
  2. Maddog's ban will remain due to breaking rule 12. His ban was in no way correlated to this situation, as it was brought up after the fact. Had we known this sooner, we would have tackled it immediately.

The Admin team has never and will never condone this inappropriate behavior, and we have always, and will always take action when deemed necessary. The Admins take this kind of behavior absolutely seriously. This server is meant to be a safe, positive and inclusive environment for supporters of Lachlan, and as the Admins, it's our responsibility to ensure this is being upheld Our silence has been due to us investigating the situation to its full extent behind the scenes, and now that we've come to a
conclusion, it's our responsibility to address it.

That being said, we want you all to be aware that we will always listen to your concerns and feedback. We always want to find ways that we can improve, so please don't feel afraid out to reach out to the admin team via email. To remind everyone of a general safety practice, if you receive a dm claiming that you’re receiving any kind of free prize, from somebody you don’t know or a bot, it is always a scam, and it could lead to your personal information being compromised. We’ve received reports of an Auto Welcomer bot DMing people, it’s a verified bot, so people may fall for it more often. Just in general, never trust a bot or person who’s claiming to give you free stuff, I’d suggest blocking the bot and moving on if you receive this type of DM. Stay safe everyone!

By doing this, you are allowing them to access your token, which allows them to gain access to your account. An image below shows an example - the code is blurred for your own safety.

The links are designed to look as if they originate from Discord’s website, however always look carefully as it's always a slight variation of the name and other variables in the link, as seen in the image below, which lead to dangerous web pages. To help further protect your account, we strongly encourage to enable two-factor authentication, which can be done through Settings > My account.

If you receive one of these scams, please report it, by directly messaging a member of staff, with the following information:

  • Screenshot of the user sending the scam link
  • The username of the user advertising these scams.

Once you obtain this information, please Block the user and move on with your day. If you are ever unsure on what to do, please feel free to DM a staff member.

To participate, you will require the following:
