Hi, I'm a high ranking staff/Manager in the Discord Server where the Wiki Team coordinates to make changes to the Wiki (Discord Inv Code: 83F2yfKd, ping me in general after verifying so I can give you the proper roles to view the channels if you need to check/confirm details).
A bit back there was someone called "Buttersky20000" that has permissions on the wiki due to founding it, but they left and never gave any of us the permissions for the wiki, we have asked them multiple times to transfer the wiki perms so we can manage it, but they never did (shown in the 3 images). So we were left in limbo until I managed to make a Wiki on Skywiki as a temporary solution (after getting the perms I'm intending to use Skywiki as a backup option should any data on Miraheze gets lost & try to ensure at least 2 trusted staff maintains permissions on the wiki at all times)
And now we would like to have the rights to the wiki, specifically & "Fearlessak47" for crat and/or admin & "The1TrueN" for admin on the wiki, after checking in with your policies I believe our wiki fits in the "Organizational Wiki" requirement as the wiki team operates in an official capacity for the game that is currently in making.

Additionally I noticed a Steward @dark parrot has already went into the wiki last week, and thus, I would like to request you check & to grant it for us.

If you do ask why I'm requesting it here and not at the https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Steward_requests/Permissions, it's because it's much more convenient for me to ask you to join the server to confirm things if need be, if you have any other questions you can ask me here on discord and I'll be respond faster as well. Thanks in advance when you do grant us the permissions.

Also for your point, we don't really have policies added onto the wiki so and cause every comm made in the discord server, rather then in the wiki discussion pages, so asking in the miraheze discord to join our server would be more efficient as they are already in the platform where we talk

looks like you've followed the process, giving your reasons and putting it on the right page so I think so. obviously I'm not a steward but I'd imagine if stewards have anything else to add here they can do it in their own time

(Global Administrator comment) Just to make clear, @formal cypress formal requests for permission grants and other such changes are not actioned here, for record keeping and organization etc etc. We also typically do not consider things like external discord servers in appointment (though there is some precedent, that’s up to Stewards to investigate). But regardless, as others have said, if there’s no local editors, SR/P for appointments or a local election if there’s an active editor base.

Is there's not active community and adoption/appointment is the route instead of election, it becomes really when a Steward gets to reviewing and actioning

Though having actual editing activity on the wiki you're requesting permissions on would definetly be benificial
