#Namespace Searching

Not sure what I would categorise this as, so I will just list under "general support"

Some of the other wiki editors wanted to organise the wiki into different namespaces for each individual game that the wiki covers, e.g. DG, Forge, Ghostright, etc.

I made a random namespace Namespacetest and a page RubberDuckies in that namespace to test if they would show up on search queries, and they do but only if you include the namespace in the search query.
Would there be a way to have it show up without including the namespace in the query? (since I'm not expecting the readers to know to include the namespace)
(^ that is, trying to search RubberDuckies would show Namespacetest:RubberDuckies without having to put in Namespacetest: first)

If you go in your namespace settings there is a variable named

#

$wgNamespacesToBeSearchedDefault

#

Does it fix what you need if you turn it on ?

also make sure to make these custom namespaces as having content (like default main namespace)
