For reference i have very little knowledge on coding, and i have edited a few wiki articles. I need to go through this learning curve nonetheless
You find it here:
Special:ManageWiki/settings#mw-section-styling
ah its there. i see
You need to upload an image
Then click on that image where you get a static link
Like this:
https://static.miraheze.org/yourwiki/8/8f/Imagename.png
That you copy to that line
yep i uploaded the image but i just had problems with accessing that page to get that logo in
Ok.
do these need to be full links?
It may take a while to load on your wiki, as the server cache is purged once a week I believe
Yes
alright
so it will just stay like this for now right?
the top colors of the skin seems like its way up there compared to what I was expecting
Correct.
What were you expecting? ... Think it looks nice
But I do like green, so I am biased
oh this was the sample image for HasSomeColors, and it seems like the band goes all the way down. Currently for my wiki it seems to hang around near the texts
it was like this even before the logo was replaced
so is it just my own browser settings?
oh so the page has to be longer for the top colors to come down?
Sorry, I misread. I thought you talked about the bottom of the page, not the top.
The top colours stay there I believe.
You can see that on my wiki:
https://jwmeeting.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page?useskin=HasSomeColours
ah, i thought it would come down as demonstrated
is it possible to change that, though?
I do not know, as I never use it
I have it installed to check how it looks, but otherwise...
i guess i should ask that to the creator
