#Deleting a private wiki

Hey folks! I did do a quick search before posting, and see that there's a way to request a wiki deletion via the Stewards' noticeboard, but I'm struggling to wrap my head around that system. Could a Steward please step in and make/execute the deletion request on my behalf?

I'm looking to delete my own private wiki, the Slipgate Wiki, for which I'm the only user (it was for a writing project that's now abandoned). The wiki has been mostly inactive since 2019, and I've finally decided to stop hogging server space and let it die after archiving its contents.

Cheers!

I understand it in theory, but not in practice – generally I'm just unfamiliar with a lot of mediawiki formatting. Don't want to make a fool of myself by fucking up the template :P

ah, see - this is my other stumbling block. I was looking at it in the visual editor - forgot you could switch to source

haha absolutely. realising I can switch and going "oh yeah this is much better" is reawakening memories from when I was first playing around with my wiki :P

see now, is this meant to happen? seems like the link in the 'Wiki:' field is wonky
