#How to change the logo of my wiki
56 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
ManageWiki is a special MediaWiki extension developed for Miraheze that allows bureaucrats to quickly and easily modify their wiki's settings. From basic changes like setting the logo and enabling extensions, to more complex things such as creating user groups and customizing every action a given group of users can (not) do, ManageWiki can do lots!
you should click "Manage this wiki's additional settings" link in admin sidebar
then go to "Styling" tab
the rest explained in link above
this is wrong link, it should be raw image URL which starts w/ "static"
check the guide again, says right there
when I right click the image theres only copy image
no copy image location
tho to get that I just dragged the image from the wiki into a new tab
yes, depends on browser I guess
another variant is "open in original size" or something link right under image
if it's too big you'll be left only w/ portion being visible
this is relevent to my issue actually
ive tried doing all that and the image still wont display
and if portion happens to be transparent, well - logo will look empty
does the static link in new tab show the image at least?
no it says unauthorized
yes
can you try to make an empty edit (save w/o changes) the File: page?
no page by this name exists
does the logo replace this
that's wordmark I believe
also I suggest to create separate thread, as we now having two different things here
theres already 44 messages in this thread
and its about something probably incredibly simple
oh btw the logo still isnt showing
I'm telling to Blue since he gets a server like error
it's freaking Vector 2022 and that's a headache for me
do you recommend I use something else
ok this thing trolling me now
it works in edit tab but not in view lol
I told you to purge cash
