Hello I am a bureaucrat from the Polcompball Wiki and we are currently having the problem that no one not even bureaucrats can edit user pages if anyone can solve this problem it would be of great help.

can you edit your own user page?
there's extension which limits editing of user pages only to users themselves, check if it's enabled

what I was thinking was either that or because you're looking at the default socialprofile page with all its board and text field junk; that takes special effort to modify including to turn into a proper userpage, and that's not intuitive to do even for an admin

I turned UserPageEditProtection off but yeah nah still doesnt work

most of the accounts afflicted with this are ones that existed on fandom beforehand so there could maybe be a correlation there?

Worth mentioning that in pages with the user profile enabled the lock doesn't seem to affect the visual editor, only the classic source editor and actions through the API are blocked.

regrettably I don't have the means to really troubleshoot locally now, and I'm also simply unsure where to begin although I know what you are talking about

it's something I'd probably turn over to someone experienced in SocialProfile specifically since that seems to be where the problem is, however I do not know who that would be aside from the developers themselves
