I assumed that the crystal was made of quartz, which has a density of 2.65 g/cm^3 (0.09573732 lb/in^3), and although the crystal was in the shape of a multi sided 3d shape thing, I assumed it was a 1 inch thick cube 6ft tall, so there is 30248 in^3 of quartz, which is 2895 lbs (1313 kg) + theo's weight is ~3050 lbs (1383 kg), so Madeline can essentially clean and press 1.5 tons in under half a second

Ok math time. So as Celeste player said (I’m going to assume what he said is correct and either cannon or backed up) she gets thrown at 31.30 mps and with a hight of 4’11 her weight will be on average 108.5 meaning we multiply

31.3 mps x 108.5 lbs = 3396.05 newtons of force or 763.4624138 pounds of force acting on Madeline’s body when she is thrown. She would crumple and fold like paper but even if she survived the throw she is also affected by 3 G’s (1 G=~22mph and mady was moving at 70)

which means the blood can’t get to the lungs and other health issues can arise every time bady throws mady and we see this occur a lot. It doesn’t matter how strong bady is but more how strong mady is to endure this beating

Now this is all also assuming mady is thrown in an optimal way and bady throws with the lease amount of force@needed not to mention it has a high likely hood with the distance covered for her to slam into the roof of the next room and die

In order for any object to be thrown 500 meters vertically (not accounting for drag), It needs to have a starting vertical velocity of just over 99 meters per second (356 km/h). In order for Badeline to accelerate Madeline to this speed over a distance of, lets say 150cm, Badeline would need to accelerate Madeline at 32,700 m/s^2 for about 3 thousandths of a second. Assuming that Madeline weighs 70 kg, Badeline would need to apply a force of 2,289,000 newtons to Madeline. This is comparable to lifting 233,571 kg even if its only for 3 thousandths of a second.

i believe Badeline does quite a lot of lifting

in order to reach the moon, Madeline needs to reach escape velocity which is about 11200 m/s. In order to reach this speed, Badeline needs to apply a force of 29,269,333,310 newtons for about 3 hundred thousandths of a second. This is equivalent to lifting half of the Great Pyramid of Giza all at once.

considering the fact that the mounatin is around 1000 meters tall we can assume that madelines car is a swaggy 4 feet (1.3 meters) tall from that we can also assume madeline is the same height which means we can also assume badeline is the same height, and badeline lifts madeline up 500 meters, so we can assume that badeline is also the same height

the most likely reason she is thrown so far is that she is catching updrafts

to get like badeline you would need to lift your own body weight in as many reps as the number of your body weight

Personal opinion:

Badeline's physical form never existed before the story, so assuming every instance of her appearing is shown ingame, she never lifted physical weights. The mountain gave her the body, and the strength and power likely came with it.
