I haven't been able to play Celeste for like months now, vanilla won't launch and when I try to update my Everest in Olympus (latest version) I get the miniinstaller death message

I should also mention that log.txt is empty

@placid gyro I'm not 100% the issue with Olympus, but I can tell you you can definitely play Celeste vanilla without the Everest changes. if you go to your Celeste directory manually, there should be a folder "orig" and Celeste.exe inside that is the vanilla. Don't remove it from the folder though as that can have consequences with uninstalling or attempting to use Celeste

The reason you can't install Everest is because you haven't been able to run the game yet, which will install XNA

#

Also, if you haven't, you should try reinstalling Celeste

I tried running celeste.exe but it still doesn't launch

I'd recommend trying to uninstall Everest, if that doesn't work (Olympus -> your install -> settings -> bottom right of page)

alright I launched everest and all my mods updated smoothly
