#Cannot update everest or even access https://release-assets.githubusercontent.com/

I've tried updating Everest, both in Everest and through Olympus, but it keeps failing with the attached error log.

Worth noting is that https://release-assets.githubusercontent.com/ is inaccessible to me both through browser and for Olympus, which seems to be the cause for my issue. Is this a local issue?

Another example is https://github.com/EverestAPI/Olympus/releases/download/v21.01.11.07/Olympus.exe which is referenced here https://everestapi.github.io/#installing-everest that is also unavailable to me. Other websites including just regular https://github.com/EverestAPI/Olympus/ works fine

Of course I might just be misunderstanding things.

Something is probably terribly wrong with my computer then. This isn't an everest issue anymore. Should I delete this post?

no, I think it is interesting

The olympus.exe url just leads to

The connection has timed out
for me. I cannot access that download in a browser (ofc I could technically access it through gamebanana, but that's just an example of me not being able to accesss release-assets which is referenced in the sharp error log

#

This is the part that makes me think this Everest update issue is caused by me being unable to access release-assets:

(A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. (release-assets.githubusercontent.com:443))

Ah yes, it's like that one blunder when my work decided to block GitHub because it has bad things on it (I'm a developer)

@timber wind try another DNS like this:

Server: one.one.one.one
Address: 1.1.1.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: release-assets.githubusercontent.com
Addresses: 185.199.109.133
          185.199.111.133
          185.199.108.133
          185.199.110.133```

I get the correct addresses when ssh'ed into one of my servers on another network, so I imagine something is misconfigured on my network.
