tldr: everest with non-default file location good or bad

so i recently reorganised my files for better control, and i saw that its possible to change the default game install location for steam. i want to change it cuz that would make backups easier for me, is there any reason why this could be a problem? for context, im using celeste with everest and lönn, and i have a bunch of downloaded as well as a bunch of selfmade mods, i dont do codemods tho.

If something like lonn defaults to the old path of a file you can change it

Depends on what you mean by that

#

Your mods are in the Mods folder which gets moved along with celeste, so they will work the same

#

But if you open lonn it will probably try to automatically open the last map you opened which will have been moved and failed to open

#

It's not really an issue
