I was loading a save-state in the last part of the section, after I had gotten the 2nd clock to revert the grab = freeze -> unfreeze from the 1st clock to be grab = unfrozen -> frozen.
I understand that the Speedrun Tool isn't natively bundled with Strawberry Jam so it's understandable if either team isn't compelled to fix, since this seems pretty custom/edge case.
Should be noted that at the time, I incidentally had my R1 button to be both grab (for the unfreeze/freeze effect) and load state. (edit: I unbound it, tried to load the state as before once I got progress again, but crashed again)
Also to note, I lost progress of two flags when I rebooted the game, strangely (I had thought the game saves at each flag checkpoint but maybe I'm mistaken, idk)
