I updated everest and it is not working anymore

I just updated everest to a new version and this is what is popping up:

i tried going into olympus and manually opening celeste.exe and it is still not working. please help.

how will i re-install everest? i’m pretty new to modding so i don’t know much about about it. will it replace my old game save data?

Just open olympus and there should be a big install everest button at the top. Your save files, settings or installed mods won't be affected.

Yes, you had a problem with the game files and verifying game files restores them back to what steam would give you when you download the game. Everest modifies the celeste files so it gets deleted too. (This won't affect your saves files or mods). That's why you need to reinstall it.
