My save file got corrupted and I did not know how to fix it so I came here, was told to ask here.

go to Saves in celeste's game files and open 0.celeste in notepad

is it empty or does it cut off at some point

if yes, check the one in Backups, is it the same

if it's intact, replace the one in Saves with the one from Backups

assuming you're on steam, right click celeste, go to properties, installed files and click browse or whatever it's called

you can just assist mode all of the stuff you got before

if you need to you can even edit the save file to get the statistics back

like time, deaths, dashes, etc

(though of course make a backup first)
