Hey! I’m trying to run Olympus on Windows, but I can’t find the full ZIP version anywhere that includes all the required files (like hostpolicy.dll, Olympus.runtimeconfig.json, etc).

Every .exe I tried (from GameBanana and GitHub) just opens a black window for a few seconds and then closes immediately – even when run as admin or through CMD.

I’ve already installed .NET, and I want to use Olympus to download mods and assist with speedrun practice.

Is there a ZIP version or installer I’m missing? Any direct download link or setup help would be super appreciated 🙏

System: Windows 10 / 11

(No log available, since Olympus doesn't even start.)

perhaps, but i dont really know how to fix it. i now downloaded the zip and unziped it before running, but the black window, followed by the app close is still there. i only have the Windows anti-virus and I even told him that the anti-virus should ignore the app

open eventvwr.msc (windows+r and type that in), then go to windows logs, application, and search for errors around the time olympus crashed

Thanks, I found a .NET Runtime error related to everestinstaller_853f4.exe.

Here’s what it says:

System.IO.IOException at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32, System.String)
at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite, Boolean checkHost)
at MonoMod.Installer.Program.Main(String[])

It occurred on 2025-06-25 at 04:08:30.

there's usually 2 solutions based on what event viewer shows

either the lua51.dll swap or manually reinstalling olympus
