It simply doesn't install, neither from Olympus or Everest itself. I've uninstalled Everest and reinstalled it from Olympus. But when I launched the game, it was vanilla Celeste. And from Everest, it simply doesn't restart (only quit) and when I get back in Everest, it says that it didn't updated.

if it doesn't install like everyone else is saying, you will be given a warning icon and an open log button with a red notification icon

To update Everest go to Olympus and click the cog on the top line, next to the Everest and Celeste buttons.
Select the version you want to install, typically this should be the latest stable, then press install.

If Everest or Lönn are currently open, close them since they open files in a way that prevents them updating.

If your Olympus does not look like this use the /updateolympus command

also afaik olympus and everest updates are extremely similar, so it should fail everywhere

from my experience everest updates are more error prone idk

I had this issue and updated to 5577 from Olympus but now I can’t launch the game and it gives me this error message:
