I've had olympus previously and it used to work but recently reinstalled celeste to a new drive and when changing the directory in olympus it had stopped responding after freezing up and I closed it after a few minutes. Now I'm getting this error when trying to relaunch :

Error

[love "boot.lua"]:276: finder.lua:637: attempt to index local 'entryA' (a number value)

Traceback

[love "callbacks.lua"]:228: in function 'handler'
[C]: in function 'error'
[C]: in function 'xpcall'
[C]: in function 'xpcall'

I've tried reinstalling and also saw someone had a similar issue a few weeks ago, where someone recommended manually updating so I tried that as well but it's giving me the same error still sadly:( . If anyone has any ideas how to help fix this I'd appreciate it :3 I'm very much not tech savvy.

Not sure if this is any useful information or not either but I tried reinstalling Celeste back onto the old drive/path that it was in and still getting the same error.

#

surely in a world of 0s and 1s a 2 cant be good right idk much about computers but 😅

#

okiedoke ill give that a shot ty

but it got a number instead

signal crater
#

so just remove the 2 and keep the brackets yeah?

dense flume
#

yea

#

if it still breaks you could get rid of the entire line

#

remember to save

signal crater
#

I think we are saved, tysm holyyyy ❤️

#

now why was a number there is the question

#

because ive seen this before but i think they ghosted me

signal crater
#

iirc the crash happened as I clicked "add" on a screen similar to this but if my memory serves I think the one I clicked add on was the new pathway (c drive) and it still listed the old one on d drive as well

#

oops lol meant to put a screenshot

dense flume
#

yeah though im not sure why it would put just a number there instead of text

#

@spring pawn just in case i guess?

I wish I remembered what exactly happened leading up to it sorry, hopefully it doesnt cause any headaches for anyone. But I appreciate you taking your time to help out and with your knowledge :3
