#Cant run Everest on Steam Deck

I tried to install Olympus and Everest on Steam deck and I have some issues

I did it [olymlus] via the discover workshop, and it runs well. But when I try to install Everest I have this error in logs :
[sharp] Task (installOlympus)(thread#32>sharp.lua:424<scenes/installer.lua:372)#1 failed : System.IO.IOException: Read-only file system : '/app/opt/olympus/olympus.new.love'

As far as I know I dont have any root password and I dont understand why it cant write

i think this is just the flatpak giving a false update alarm and idk why

I'm trying to update because when launching I have an error and I thought it was because of an Everest malfunction

I published a new stable yesterday so a new stable should show up soon enough thinkeline

Atom gets a PR when a new stable is published and reviews it to push a new Flatpak update afaik

thonkeline isn't installing the Flatpak supposed to disable updates from inside Olympus?

Because the error in this ticket isn’t related to Everest installation

Well the fact that on my computer I can't update it through olympus makes it really weird

But that's not the first person to encounter this bug I'll make a PR

Could be the fact that the flatpak space ownership changes from different distros ?

that shouldn't be the case but sometimes it can be messed up
