So, my laptop was stuck in a bluescreen loop and so i had to factory reset, choosing to keep application data. When i reset i reinstalled the olympus installer and tried to run it but it just goes black and freezes. No idea why, and this happens with every version of the installer. I dont know if it kept any of my save data or not but i would like to get celeste modded in the first place as a start.

id delete olympus' program files and reinstall

i ran the uninstall in the olumpus files, but the installer still appears to be dysfunctional

Do you need to? Just download the required mods as you need them in new maps. If you want to you can open that file in a text editor and look at all the mod names and search them on gamebanana or olympus and redownload them. There is not automated process afaik. But again you don't really need to redownload all mods.

this is my issue:

Computer started having gpu issues
Got stuck in a bluescreen loop and had to factory reset
chose to keep personal files
Have a tiny bit of celeste data in windows.old
dont have backups on steam
just got olyumpus to run on integrated graphics

I'm not sure what the issue there is? You should be able to just redownload your mods. Or do you mean that you want to find your save data from the windows.old folder?

So have you found your celeste folder inside your windows.old folder? It should contain a folder named Saves. That's what you're looking for.

It should be somewhere like windows.old/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/Common/Celeste/

Yea the olympus folder is not related to celete data at all. Celeste's data is located in a folder like this. But I'm pretty sure when you reinstalled windows the program files folder got wiped.
