me neither idk whats up
Can you send your logs?
In order to get logs for Olympus, navigate to the following folder:
- On Windows,
%LocalAppdata%/Olympus - On Linux,
~/.config/Olympus - On OSX,
~/Library/Application Support/Olympus - Using flatpak,
~/.var/app/io.github.everestapi.Olympus/config/Olympus
The Olympus log is directly in this folder, and is calledlog-sharp.txt.
Olympus logs contain paths to certain files and folders in your system (e.g.: the folder Olympus is run from) to help with diagnosing problems. Remember to censor any usernames in log files before uploading them.
either the antivirus ate olympus.sharp.exe or its causing sharp to crash with the famous 0xc06d007e
same
read the message carefully
however in this case we need log.txt
yup?
[[thread#4>sharp.lua:424<scenes/mainmenu.lua:246]] [thread error] thread#4>sharp.lua:424<scenes/mainmenu.lua:246 sharp.lua:434: Failed running (getVersionString)(thread#4>sharp.lua:424<scenes/mainmenu.lua:246)#1 getVersionString: sharp thread died
[[main]] ERROR
[[main]] sharp.lua:434: Failed running (Win32RegSet)(main)#1 Win32RegSet: sharp thread died
I deployed the .NET 8 update so uh, it might have changed now
couldn't you just have uploaded the entire thing
also send log-sharp.txt since there was a recent change
wait
I fix the issue by simply log on celeste instead of olympus but for now you can't add more mods until Olympus is fixed but it's possible to play the game 🙂
yeah i did that too

concern
is it published as a single file
did you check AVs yet?
if you go to %appdata%\Olympus\sharp, do you see a System.Console.dll?
does olympus extract the entirety of the dlls
second
if no we'll need to push a new init
give me a second
the update package includes the entire sharp folder, so if it's missing, either that's broken, or the antivirus ate it
nope
is that bad?
Uh yes, it's complaining about this
You could grab https://maddie480.ovh/celeste/download-olympus?branch=stable&platform=windows and take the files from there
