well this is so bizarre and weird i dont think anyone has any clue on why, especially if its on vanilla
i can only remind you of the basic tricks to fixing common bugs: update your system and anything else you may find relevant (graphics drivers, game launcher, etc.)

The only thing bound to dash as well is talk

I remember that dream cancel not is hitting the dreamblock like hitting the wall
Instead, hit the ceiling, floor, or wall before hitting Dreamblok, or climb jump to interrupt the dash.
