Unhandled exception. System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\33767\Desktop\Nouveau dossier\steamapps\common\Celeste\miniinstaller-log.txt' is denied.
seems to be some kind of permissions issue?
actually why is your steam dir in your desktop??
I don't know what steam dir is
I access to steam by clicking on an icon in my desktop, is it this?
How could I access to steam if it's not there?
isnt steam an application
you don't open the steam library folder and browse in its files
Sorry I don't understand
you have a folder called Nouveau dossier on your desktop and all your steam games are in there
that's something else than the steam shortcut (see image), which is just a shortcut to the steam client, wherever that happens to be installed
And this folder is bad?
the desktop might have weird file permission issues and is also generally a bad place to store files
Ok so I have to find a way to authorize the access to this folder?
maybe. the first thing you can try is just deleting the miniinstaller-log.txt
Ok
if that doesn't work, ideally you just move your steam library to a normal place
What is a normal place?(Deleting the .txt didn't worked)
idk somewhere in your user folder is probably the easiest
I don't know what is my user folder
C:\Users\33767\
I would say "where all your images and documents etc are" but given the previous messages I'm not too confident about that
isn't it already in my user folder?
well, it's on your desktop. which is technically in your user folder but has some special handling
ok let's try moving it
I can't find , i think i'll retry later when i'll change my laptop to a new one
isn't the default wherever steam is installed
like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
yes
but moving stuff back there might require admin permissions
installers generally ask for admin
pretty sure it never did
