I was playing SJ and then wanted to take a break. After taking a break and then wanting to play again, I wasn't able to start the game anymore. I tried to verify my game files and Everest got uninstalled. But now I also can't install Everest anymore. I tried to then completely uninstall Celeste hoping that might fix it but it still doesn't work. I also tried to restart my PC (idk I was desperate). I included the log-sharp file and also wanted to include the log but the log is empty? Hope I didn't forget anything.

delete EverestSplash-win64.exe from the EverestSplash in your celeste game files, then try again
Okay I'm able to install Everest now. Thanks! Idk if I have to create a new post for this but now the next problem is I still can't launch Celeste. Here would be the logs.
Steam Instructions
Epic Games Store Instructions
If you have Everest installed, you will need to reinstall it after verifying.
It's still the same error log. Do you have any other idea?
is there a FNA3D.dll in your game files?
in a specific folder or just in the Celeste folder?
So when searching for FNA3D.dll in the Celeste folder I got for results:
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Celeste\everest-lib\lib64-win-x86
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Celeste\orig
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Celeste\everest-lib\lib64-win-x64
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Celeste\lib64-win-x64
But there isn't one directly in the Celeste folder
hm
can you get the x64 release version of this program? then drag and drop the FNA3D.dll from lib64-win-x64 into it and show me what you see
This is probably a dumb question but so I should download the Dependencies_x64_release right? and then extract it and drop the FNA3D.dll into the folder or am I understanding something wrong? sorry... I'm rather incompetent when it comes to stuff like this
don't drag and drop it into the folder, open the DependenciesGui.exe program and drag FNA3D.dll into the window
Ah okay sorry
thanks
1sec
So do you want to see this screen or something else?
Ah this pic is probably more helpful
i was more interested in this one but forgot to respond
hm
aha oh okay
okay i have no idea why this happens
