my controller has been working fine with everest up until now but after installing an update it stopped. not sure why this is, it still works fine with base game and has never had issues with everest before now. ps4 controller does work, although it isnt my preferred controller which is why i wanna get the switch pro controller working.

Are you using steam if so does steam recognize the controller is connected in the controller settings page

try toggling steam input (on or off depending on which one it is right now)
I'm not using steam at all and my switch pro controller works fine with everest
