I'm trying to reinstall everest on a new computer and I'm getting this error log

System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Celeste\orig\Saves\0-modsave-AltSidesHelper.celeste' because it is being used by another process.

try restarting your computer i guess?

I sorted it out

somehow norton security was getting in the way

if everest was already installed and you use the old installer it backs up the save files, right?

orig/Saves is a symlink to saves
