#everest crash while updating
21 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
To update Everest go to Olympus and click the cog on the top line, next to the Everest and Celeste buttons.
Select the version you want to install, typically this should be the latest stable, then press install.
If Everest or Lönn are currently open, close them since they open files in a way that prevents them updating.
If your Olympus does not look like this use the /updateolympus command
it's still cutting off as its starting up
how long have you given it
i dont mean resets
how long have you waited since starting it and sending the log
define "crashes"
does it close or what
what if you disable procedurline
disable all mods then
reenable whichever mods you want to have on rn
then use this
A mod bisect is a way to find a misbehaving mod without having to check them one by one.
Here are steps on how to do it:
- Disable half of your enabled mods.
- Check to see if the issue persists.
- If it does:
- The mod that is causing the issue is still enabled. Disable half of your enabled mods.
- If it doesn't:
- The problematic mod has just been disabled. Enable the mods you just disabled, and disable the ones you had enabled.
- Repeat step 2 until you narrow your search to 1 mod.
if it's still crashing
have you done the rest of the steps like i asked you to
are you willing to spend 10 hours disabling each mod one by one instead?
then no
this is the most efficient way to narrow a bad mod
otherwise you're just wasting time
