#Stylegrounds acting weird?

For some reason, when I add multiple backgrounds, it doesn't add them in layers properly. Also, the tree background doesn't start at the ground for some reason.

i think it's because you have additive blending

#

basically, instead of stacking them on top, it adds their colours together, which gives you ever-lighter colours until you have what you have, like the white trees

#

so, in short, change "Blend Mode" to Additive

maybe swap their positions? (ie move one up or down)

I'm guessing you're talking about the tree background since the orange one fits:
you might want to change the tree background's "Scroll Y" value to 0 — it won't move up and down anymore though

#

also, for the tree background, if you turn down the Scroll Y value, this isn't that important, but you'll probably want to turn off "Loop Y" to prevent visual oddities

Maybe turn up the "Y" value? I think that makes it move down

#

Also, if you set the "Scroll Y" to a smaller number, it'll still move with you, just not as fast

#

Also, make sure "Speed Y" is set to 0, because that'll make it move automatically without the player, which is undesired
