#One of the mods in strawberry jam mod pack seems to fuck up the death screen transition

After Downloading Strawberry Jam and the mods that are needed for it to run, I noticed that there is an obvious glitch in the death transitions (the black screen closing up the screen when madeline dies). It's normal when the black screen closes up the level, but not when it opened again. Normally, an inversed of the closing animation plays to open up the level again, but it doesn't and just dissappears. Is this a problem of the mods themselves or my computer? And is there a way to fix it? Thank you!

(it also happens when starting a level)

can you send the log.txt file from just outside your mods folder?

you have celestetas; check its settings

i think this is just a thing that can happen if you have a lot of mods (or big mods) installed

#

more specifically it's lagging a bit when it reloads the screen

jade crypt
#

ah in that case maybe install core

in that case probably just respawn lag, yea

#

installing core will likely help

all i see is c8 mods

#

is it only on gamebanana itself

jade crypt
#

nope, it's an everest branch

#

you go into olympus, and click the cog next to "everest" and "celeste"

#

and then install a version marked (core)

it's just not launching the game now for some reason

jade crypt
#

can you send the log?

the stable version does work but the latest core doesnt

Don't see anything in the log

#

The new one doesn't have much more info either though

#

also the olympus launcher doesnt detect celeste starting

#

i could spam it and it'll only say celeste is starting for a couple seconds

#

and then do nothing

If I had to guess something went wrong while installing it
