How do I know what Everest version to set as a dependency in my mod?

The current version says "1.4.0.0-fna + 1.4205.0-azure9e691" but I feel like I should be using 1.4.0.0 or 1.4205.0 in my everst.yaml. Also, I know there's a mod that makes the everest.yaml automatically for maps, is there something similar to mods? Sorry this is my first ever Celeste code mod
