every time i try to open olympus to, y'know, install the celeste mod stuff, it just hangs on a blue screen, i tried running it as admin but that didn't seem to help either

For some users, Olympus freezes on a white or black screen on startup for unknown reasons. You can attempt the following fixes:
-If you have a third party antivirus, check if it's blocking/quarantining Olympus.
-Restart your PC.
-Delete and reinstall Olympus.
If none of those work, no fix for this is currently known and you have to use one of the following alternate installation methods:
-On Windows, the old graphical Everest installer is available at https://gamebanana.com/dl/430740.
-Mons (https://github.com/coloursofnoise/mons/) is a command line based cross-platform installer that is similarly powerful to Olympus. However, it requires some base familiarity with the command line.
-Alternatively, you can use the manual installation method described under "Cross-platform manual installation" at https://everestapi.github.io/.

olympus is a separate program from everest, so it should be in a separate place
