is there a reason you're trying to install it into the orig folder? i think that may be confusing the installer

that folder mostly serves as a backup for everest to put a copy of the vanilla exe, in case you launch into vanilla or want to uninstall everest
that's the shortcut file
you want the actual exe file
right click on celeste in steam > properties > installed files > browse
can you send your log again
(actually just noticed you're also using the old everest installer rather than olympus, does olympus not work for you?)

origfolder from your steam celeste folder - verify game files (right click celeste in steam > browse > installed files > verify integrity of game files)
- try installing again
