#

saves are stored in a separate folder on mac anyway

#

they're in ~/Library/Application Support/Celeste or something

#

so your installs should already be accessing the same saves

#

you will have to copy over the Mods folder though unless you want to redownload all the mods

Like you'd think that if someone drags a file from one place to another, they're doing that because they want to take that file and put it somewhere else

#

Not because they want to keep the file in its original place but create a pointer in the new location that links back to the original file but which ceases to function if you delete the original

#

Why would you ever want to do that

It also might be a special case when dragging to the desktop

#

Majority of non-power users who drag an app to the desktop are wanting to make an alias

#

If it moved by default then everything would explode

#

In fact I think windows does this if you drag an exe from program files to the desktop?

#

possible, I've never tried that

just tried and yes it does

#

i dragged firefox.exe from program files onto the desktop, and the default action is to make a shortcut

Ok sorry I already found a fix by using copy paste
