#Skin dash colors setting

yea, skinmodhelper can do that (using colourgrades i believe)
i'm not sure of the details though
Hmm, I see some inside
And I'm already making my mod SMH compatible
But still I was wondering how I can limit the coloring area
So I can tweak to let only part of my Chronia changes
- find the area you want to change, and make it a colour you don't use anywhere else (like a greenscreen); you can use shades of a colour if you want to get variation
- make colourgrade images that change that 'greenscreen' colour into the actual colours you want, one per # of dashes:
- make a copy of
Celeste/Content/Graphics/ColorGrading/none.pngand put it in your mod, underGraphics/ColorGrading/Username/Modname/dash<number of dashes>.png - replace the 'greenscreen' colour on that image with the colour you want
- make a copy of
from part 3 of the documentation
basically, the recolouring applies to the whole sprite, but it doesn't change anything except the greenscreen parts, because they're the only ones with that specific colour
I see, thanks a lot for your help!
Hello, I have an issue. I have skin helper installed and I have changed the color of dash0.png; also the image is in the correct path, but my skin does not change when I lose the dash in the game.
Can anyone help me?
make a separate issue instead of reviving an issue from a year ago please
Ok
LOL
Which SMH are you using?
Skin Mod Helper or Skin Mod Helper Plus?
Skin Mod Helper Plus would keep the sprite of having a dash when the maximum dashes are 0, but I think the author fixed it already
That not as an issue need to be fixes, because maximum dashes is 0 but showing 1 dash color is vanilla hair behavior
To know it just disable Skin Mod Helper if no Plus and go to vanilla prologue
Oh, I used the wrong word
I think it's updated, not fixed
