if it's not in /Applications, put it there
i know Celeste/Everest/Olympus sometimes has issues if the game isn't there
due to how macOS app translocation works
i honestly recommend just installing Celeste using the itch launcher if you haven't already

not sure what you mean, i took a look at the log as well, and seems like it does indeed relink stuff
only issue i see is that Spiralis is trying to reference some vivhelper stuff even though there is no vivhelper in the mods folder
