I've been wanting to play this game with my brother, but I feel like swapping control of Madiline takes away from the game so I was looking to see if there were any couch multiplayer mods so we could play with like keyboard and contoller instead.

there's one level in the beginner lobby of strawberry jam (https://gamebanana.com/mods/424541) called "seeing is believing", the gimmick of it is that you're meant to play it blindfolded and have another person guide you through
that's the only "couch coop" type of mod i'm really aware of though
if you have multiple monitors you may be able to find a way to run multiple instances of the game and play together with celestenet
i wouldn't be the person to ask for details about that tho
and probably less feasible if you have it on steam in particular

it's very difficult to have two players at the same time because basically everything in celeste assumes there's only one, so you'd have to either simulate two worlds at once (difficult to display on one monitor) or rewrite a lot of code
