Hello! I haven't touched Celeste/Olympus in a bit but I recall messing around with some "files" in order to help a friend test a map. I've tried deleting all Celeste/Olympus/Everest related files in order to do a clean install but so far every attempt at installing Olympus has returned the same error.

If anyone could help I would really appreciate it aniheartblue

unless a another <@&673391557939953684> has any other ideas, that means your hard drive is a little borked

That's worrisome ๐Ÿ˜…

#

I'll try installing it on another drive in the meantime

#

Same result after installing Celeste to a new drive (Not sure how I could install Olympus to another drive since it automatically installs to AppData)

Hey, I'll probably stop checking this thread, feel free to close it.
Thank you to anyone who looked into the issue!

Chkdsk C: /r

#

With c: being the letter of your hard drive

#

You might have to restart after running the command for it to run

#

Standing by for launch command

You also might want to back up any important files because there is a small chance that if you lose power it could corrupt something

random flower
#

That sounds like a smart thing that I'm too lazy to do

#

Firing command

#

Nothing is happening, did I type something wrong?

long wadi
#

It should say something before

#

Like it needs to schedule the command can run

#

I don't think this matters but try without capital c

random flower
#

CTRL + C returned this

long wadi
#

Type y then enter

#

Then restart your computer it might take awhile

random flower
#

I'm back, the cleaning process was almost instant

long wadi
#

You restarted right

#

I never seen it go that fast

#

Try to install Everest again and see if it works

random flower
#

I did, it gave me the "Press anything to stop the cleaning process" notification and I didn't press it

Slightly different message for H:

long wadi
#

Yeah just type y and enter

#

You shouldn't have to restart this time

random flower
#

H is my storage drive, this might take a while

long wadi
#

Yeah

Any ideas left?
