#Can't run Styline with Procedurline. Game crashes on run

You can send it as a pastebin or similar
Actually, better approach, I can just temporarily grant you the media role
@narrow snow You now temporarily have the media role for posting your log
Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.
Oh ffs
Well... too late now
Try updating CelesteNet
You can just download the latest version like you would install any other mod
?
I didn't install it
Oh wait, you don't already have it installed, never mind
-.-
Could you send your normal log so I can tell what mods you have
It's called log.txt and is in your Celeste install folder
Log would be more helpful, but that kind of helps
( I just want Styline but the game said Procedurline was needed for it to run )
Oh
Ok then, hang on
There
That's the Olympus log, not Celeste. I think this might just be a bug in Styline though @shy vessel
i just pushed an update today which fixes some crashes in the celestenet integration when connection/disconnecting
They're on the latest update
I think it's unintentionally dependent on CelesteNet
1.0.2? (i think)
Yep
Sorry for delay, I had no f-ing clue where the OG files were and internet was useless
You're closer, go up one folder. It's called just log.txt, no numbers. What you sent is a backup from a previous run of the game
the log seems to be cut off
The Styline version? yes
but still, (12/23/2022 20:15:21) [Everest] [Warn] [Procedurline] Couldn't replace SpriteBatch.Draw call for ScaledMTextures in method System.Void DMD<Monocle.MTexture::Draw>
that's suspicious
Ah
Fuck
My bad
that might be something else though, but that definitely shouldn't happen
Yep, that's the one
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'CelesteNet.Client, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies.
the lua loader blew up
0.o
Sounds... problematic
- switch to the latest everest dev build
- install celestenet (you don't have to use it, it just has to be installed)
That's the one I have tho' ๐ค
I think
you might be on stable, but i'm not sure if the pr even made its way into the latest dev build though
That's the latest beta, which is a little older than latest dev. Latest dev should be two below in that list
The beta might be more recent than I thought
Well for now you can install CelesteNet as a workaround
@shy vessel seems like they're on the latest beta already (which is newer than the latest dev)
does it have this commit? https://github.com/EverestAPI/Everest/commit/d4c796695684a04f606e7b0b85406972b82b601d
can you try just installing the latest option it offers you to install?
Kk
I'll try that then
well, it's newer, but it doesn't include all of the commits
we cherry-picked a hotfix into beta
Yeah forgot about that
so dev 3704 is "newer"
